that’s how i feel when i talk about fats too.

when i was a kid, i loved the hell out of tiny toon adventures.  i remember one episode; it’s not my favorite (my favorite is “potty years,” the baby plucky duck one where he puts everything “down the hooooole”), but it reminds me so much of this season.  it’s the short “a pigment of his imagination,” where hamton imagines that he has a best friend that was taller, more built and more attractive than he is to make friends.  then everyone ignores hamton and parties with the imaginary best friend!  

for this cycle it almost felt like, to me, the producers wanted me to describe my ideal model and they agreed to create her for the show.

fictional creation story aside, i think this girl is so awesome, and i may be among a handful of people (antm fans or not) who believe so.  as i mentioned before, i like the fact that the girl is/was a scholar and i admire her for struggling with a language barrier to be at the top of her class.  not to mention that i’m in awe of her backstory (who wouldn’t be?  oh, sorry, see “not” link).

show-wise, whereas fan favorite anya seems like she’s two bricks shy of a wall…

i also like how she really wants to win this show.  i feel her desire to win this show more than i do whoever’s left on the program.  a positive attitude makes me happy anytime.  a negative attitude–kills my zen.  like a former classmate of mine that would not eat anything in front of her–and she’s in a culinary school program.  or this one time where one of my current classmates called another classmate a “bitch” and people were talking about the incident for the rest of the day.

i’m going to predict that tyra doesn’t want someone who is smart***, critical and is a smoker to win antm, so i assume she won’t win (like all the spoilers claim and most other bloggers point out).  maybe she’ll get mainstream work.  i don’t know. as mentioned before, she’s one of the shorter contestants this season.  as of now the girl’s in limbo, and that is what makes me feel bad for her.  

then again, if she becomes the anti-elyse of antm and becomes a doctor of some sort, she’ll still be richer than i ever will be, so i guess that’s a win-win for her.
